Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
This policy explains how Jarva ("Jarva", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our website, our business communications, and the internal marketing-operations platform we use to run advertising for the brands we own and operate.
1. Who we are
Jarva is a studio and holding company that builds and operates a portfolio of consumer product brands. We run paid advertising for those brands in-house, using the official APIs of the advertising platforms we work with. You can reach us at hello@thejarva.net.
2. Information we collect
Website visitors. Our website is informational. We do not require accounts and we do not collect personal information from visitors beyond standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept for security and reliability. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic. We do not sell visitor information.
Business contacts. If you email us, we keep your name, email address, and the contents of the correspondence in order to respond and maintain the relationship.
Advertising and platform data. Through our internal platform, we access advertising configuration and performance data from advertising accounts that we own and operate — described in the next section.
3. Data from advertising platform APIs
Our internal marketing-operations platform connects to advertising platforms — including Google Ads, Meta, Pinterest, Reddit, and TikTok — through their official APIs. Through these APIs we access data such as campaign and ad configuration, budgets and bids, audience settings, and performance metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions, and spend) for the advertising accounts we own and operate.
We use this data solely to create, manage, and report on advertising for our own brands. In particular:
- We access only accounts that we own and operate. We do not manage advertising on behalf of third-party clients, and we do not resell or sublicense API access.
- Platform data is used for campaign management and internal reporting dashboards — not for advertising unrelated to the account it came from, and not for building profiles of individuals.
- We do not sell data obtained from advertising platform APIs, and we do not share it with third parties except for service providers who help us operate our own systems (such as hosting), under confidentiality obligations.
Google API Services. Where we access data through Google APIs, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Customer data from our brands
Each consumer brand we operate handles customer information (such as orders, payment status, and support conversations) under that brand's own storefront privacy policy. Across all of our brands, the same principles apply: we collect what is needed to fulfill orders and provide support, we use trusted processors for payments and shipping, and we do not sell customer personal information.
5. How we use information
- To operate, launch, and grow the brands we own, including managing advertising campaigns
- To measure performance and allocate budgets across our portfolio
- To respond to inquiries and maintain business relationships
- To keep our website and systems secure and reliable
- To comply with legal obligations
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that support our operations (hosting, analytics, payments, shipping), with advertising platforms as necessary to run our own campaigns through their APIs, or where required by law.
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above. Advertising performance data is retained for internal reporting and financial records; correspondence is retained as long as the business relationship is active or as required by law. Data that is no longer needed is deleted.
8. Security
API credentials and platform data are stored securely, with access limited to the people and systems that need them to operate our advertising. We use encryption in transit, scoped credentials, and access controls appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@thejarva.net and we will respond within a reasonable time.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
